Canale Reportage è stato il primo ed esclusivo canale tematico on demand italiano dedicato alle inchieste internazionali, ai documentari investigativi ed ai feature documentary.

DUBBING

Camera, in collaborazione con due laboratori di doppiaggio a Milano e Roma, cura per i propri clienti la realizzazione delle edizioni italiane dei titoli che distribuisce.
In particolare, grazie alla specifica competenza delle sue risorse interne, revisiona direttamente le traduzioni e gli adattamenti dei copioni ed esegue – prima dell’editing finale- un accurato pre-collaudo artistico sulla corretta esecuzione del doppiaggio.

Nel suo catalogo sono disponibili circa 650 ore di documentari, reportage e film in edizione italiana.

Dario Barone

Dario has a long and diversified experience in production, communication and distribution having also worked as a journalist for both radio and the press.
For RAI (the national television network) he directed several documentaries and was the head of the video department for AGINT, an international news agency.
In 1994 Dario Barone bought Camera, then already one of the main Italian distributors, and created a production division that would closely collaborate with foreign broadcasters such as France Télévision, ARTE and RTSI.
In 1999 he is among the co-founders of docit, the “Italian Association of Documentary Filmmakers” which he chaired for four years.
He mentored various workshops amongst which Eurodoc, European and Mediterranean development audiovisual programme, Discovery Campus Master School, University of Lugano, IULM University of Milano. He also served on the juries of the following film festivals: Bellaria Film Festival, Filmmaker, Premio Chatwin, Maremma Doc Festival, Premio Libero Bizzarri and Festival dei Popoli.
From January 2005, as CEO and Founder of Camera Distribuzioni Internazionali, he works exclusively in distribution.

Francesca Botta

From 1997 to 2003 Francesca Botta worked for Camera to become its head of Sales & Acquisition in the last three years. She has worked with the most established networks and production companies both nationally and internationally. From 2003 til 2010 she was the head of Sales, New Media and Special Events for Mikado Film and Dolmen Home Video, one of Italy’s main theatrical distributors. She also worked as a buyer for the same companies and from 2003 to 2007 managed their broadcasting rights.

In 2011 she was appointed as the Sales & Acquisition manager of CDI.

Elena Urbani

Sales & Acquisition 

Elena has a Master degree in Institutions And Politics of  Human Rights And Peace at the University of Padua and an MA on tv marketing and communication at the Cattolica del Sacro Cuore University in Milan.

During the University studies she has two collaborations with San Marino RTV and A3 Nordest as tv journalist.

From 2012 to 2013 she cooperates to the start up of  Sky Arte HD as an Editorial support, collaborating especially in Scheduling, Communication and Broadcasting.

In 2014 she has been author and producer for 3d Produzioni, being part of different productions linked to Salone del Mobile and Piccolo Teatro in Milan.

From July 2014 has joined the team of Sales and Acquisition for Camera CDI.

Giovanni Vimercati

GIOVANNI VIMERCATI

From 2009 to 2013 Giovanni Vimercati was responsible for the acquisition of content for The Film Shop, an independent dvd rental outlet in London. Since 2008 he has worked as a freelance film & TV critic and his writing has appeared on Variety, Sight & Sound, Film Comment, Indiewire, Cineaste, Cinema Scope, Mubi and others. For these publications he has covered festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Locarno, Berlin, Rotterdam, Abu Dhabi and Karlovy Vary among others. He also  worked as a journalist for The Huffington Post UK, The Independent, New Statesman and China.org.cn. In 2012 he was appointed as the head of the editorial department of Nisi Masa, a Paris-based organization that promotes cinema amongst the young generations. He has held workshops for film critics in Nairobi, Kenya in collaboration with the Goethe Insitut and in Sarajevo with the Berlinale Talents.

He joined Camera in 2013.
